Here comes your #3 Geek Post!

Picture showing my Vista’s System Tray with all the programs running in background almost 99% of the time. So many small tiny programs running eating my RAM away but still they can finish it. Mwahahaha! Looks like the USD and RM exchange rate is fallen again from 3.720 two weeks ago. No comment about this, maybe the economy started to recover? Nah.. Some people say you should spend your money wisely during economy crisis, yeah I agree with that but not not spending at all. If everybody stops spending money on other things besides daily items, then how on the earth the economy is going to recover? Maybe this is the excuse I gave to myself when I spent on my current PC which made so many impossible things for my old Dell to happen. (Acer Suckssssssssssssssssssssssssss x 4,294,967,295)

 

Maybe you have noticed it already in the first picture, that my desktop is in 3D! Yeah by using the program Real Desktop. Cool eh?

 

Showing at the side bar is of course, the infamous IP that starts with 60.48.xx.xx that makes my download faster, and two floating MSN contacts of my dear to make sure I notice her online presence ASAP abo I’m fast food dead meat. (abo = if not) And 47% (1.9GB) of RAM used, not to forget the almost filled Recyle Bin.

是谁偷走了我的时间?

刚刚突然又不见了两个小时，加上早上的一个小时，今天又不见了三个。

奇怪。

到底小偷是谁？

不过，时间就算不见了也没什么大不了，平时我也不怎么会安排和好好利用时间。不过要命的是，当时间不见了，身体也疲惫了，精神也没有了，也需要用更多的时间去弥补失去了的时间，要不然世界就会离我而去，大家也会说我没有做好，不负责任。

不会结束的噩梦，永无止境的烦恼，好累人。因为我是个很怕孤单的人，不能不继续努力、微笑、还有偷偷的睡觉。 ^.^

原来有时候不是有了翅膀，就能自由在天空飞翔的。

Super Dancer Online! SDO-X!

Recently we tried a new online dancing game, the SDO Extreme. At first I thought it’ll be easier than O2Jam since it only have 4 keys to press when playing. Well, it does makes the game simpler but the beat is just totally shit. You need to press about..10 years before the music to get the perfect!!!

The games kept spoilt the mood of me and my dear until one day, we decided to play O2Jam awhile to see the DIFFERENCE. Yeah it messes up our score in O2 also but we soon recovered our skill. Later we went to play Audition and surprisingly, we turned into chain machines XD getting Perfect over half for most songs.

Hmm, let’s take a look on some screenshots I took when playing SDO.

Just to show how ‘nice’ it is to buy a E7300 at about RM400 and overclock it from 2.66Ghz to 3.28Ghz with stock fan, and outperformed the E8400(3.00Ghz, RM620) in most of the CPU tests even with only half the cache size.

Wow I am so geeky!

Firstly please look at the snapshot below.

Hmm.. Maybe to most of the people won’t understand what the heck is this about. It’s actually showing the transfer rate between the Memory, L1 and L2 Cache memory (what?)

Nah, keep it short, everyone probably know what the RAM is and the Caches are a different, faster, more expensive type of RAM resides inside/near the CPU. I upload the screenshot here just to short you how crazy the transfer rate is!

Look at the Read rate of L1 Cache: 52489 MB/s! How fast is this?

Compare to your Streamyx line of 1Mbps, the transfer rate of the L1 Cache is equal to 52489 x 8 = 419912Mbps! 400 thousand times faster than your TM Nut’s Streamxy line!

The latency is the respond time of the memory: 0.9ns. (Don’t know what is ‘ns’?) 0.9ns = 0.0000000009 seconds. Okay. Get the idea how fast it respond?

Normal home user should have around 250GB of hard disk storage, with this kind of transfer rate, the poor hard disk will be filled up in 4.8772 seconds.. If the hard disk is that fast LOL. Poor hard disk..

Live Laugh Love

Saw this just now at Lowyat forum, a signature of someone. Quite alike to the name of this Blog, Live Life Love. By the way, I haven explain how I decided on that name.

Quite a few years ago, there was an advertisement on the TV with the slogan ‘Live Life Cool’ (forgot what advertisement was that). That period of time I wasn’t so positive about life, you know, keep complaining about everything, negative, pessimistic and all that so I changed the slogan to Live Life Sucks! LOL

And today..as I found my love in life and love for live, again I changed the slogan, but this time it became ‘Live Life Love’.

Not to forget about current slogan of Pizza Hut, ‘Eat Laugh Share’, in short (ELS) that is also my dear’s O2Jam’s nickname, Els01.

Well, let’s laugh more in our lives! =D

Finishing Thesis Draft…

What the toot?! The only reason that kept me busy like hell no time to write blog at all for a few days is the most stupiak reason in the world – Final Year Project!

Today is the dead line for the first draft of my thesis (yeah I’m now currently in the last semester of my 4-year degree, going to be a jobless person soon). Since Monday, I have spent almost every free time working on writing the draft, sleeping 5 hours in the night and 2 hours afternoon nap daily. I faced my loyal computer longer than ever, even more than those times I use my computer for gaming.

This time it will be quite a lengthy post so..bear with me.

These few days can only be described using two words – Total Mess. One day I tried to plug in headphone into my CPU’s faulty front panel audio jack again, it was the same, the computer will be turned off immediately. The serious thing is, during boot up, Vista said my registry was corrupted and the recovery feature has failed, hell! Luckily after a few restart, it all back to normal condition. Guess my CPU dun like being poke at the front panel audio jacks. Speechless @.@

It’s too late to go and buy.. It’s too late..

It’s too late for Valentines.. I’m bo geh..

No!! I’m certainly not bo geh and it’s still not too late for Valentines! I sent a bundle of flowers comprising 12 stalks of pink rose to my dear after a week since the Valentine’s day had passed. Would like to say really sorry to her for the late flowers. >.< No excuse but..the price of flowers was double one week earlier T.T

The next story is about my housemates. Some of them irresponsibly kept downloading causing my internet connection slow as turtle, no, snail! In a rage I sent a message to everyone in my house telling them to give way and stop all downloading during 9pm-3am daily, and I will pay the streamyx fees for all of them. The reason I gave them was..ahem, need the line to be lag-free to spend quality time with my beloved dear. *shy* Well a few of the girls told me that I was too impatience and they will still pay as usual. Eek..

And looks like I am 2 days behind my duty to clean the house.. Eek x2

Even my new ASUS DVD-Writer had problems when burning DVDs, 3 DVD with errors up to date. Eek x3

And even when I am writing this post, there have been countless number of times I check my final year project draft over and over again, each time with a different mistake on the format (so called Gaya UKM) which I overlooked. EEK x4

Tired like a cow after working in a field. Must sleep soundly tonight, I quit being a cow, tonight I wanna be a PIG! Goodnight world! NGHOK!

Audition! Forever Love!

Recently Audition added some JJ’s and Wonder Girls new songs, replaced the stupiak ‘Ji Ba Ban’ song that everyone hates, besides that the newest patch also introduced more motions which include Angry, No Way, Wanna Try?, Muacks, and I love You. =D

I’ve took a screenshot of my dear cutetoxin and me posing Muacks at the end of one song but it looks like we’re having back pain after hours of Audition, LOL!

(Look at my yiyii she’s so happy! She’s the cutest ginger bread girl in the world! Too bad she’s leaving us soon because the time limit is almost over.. sob)

Windows Live Writer Test?

Post this using “Windows Live Program” when upgrading my MSN, looks like this program have some nice geeky functions to improve the experience of Blog writing (see the drop shadow effect of the picture below). Still not feeling want to write any new things here after a few day. Life is messy, Maxis made my life messy (just a saying invented by me: Maxis messes up your life, Celcom makes you siao, Digi makes you dizzy).

Anyway, put a recently modified background image for Friendster from a template by someone. Feels like plagiarism @.@ (Sorry to the real author of the picture).

Friendster Super Pets!

Today my dear and I adopted our own pets at Friendster! Everyone can adopt their own cute pets (trust me, they are very cute!). Bubuu is the name of my dear's pet and she is so cute!!! When she sees you, she will ask for your hug and shout 'Hug me hug me!!! Bao~' And of course, no one can resist her cuteness and hug her like no tomorrow!

We had a lot of fun playing with our pets, visiting each other and giving huggies everywhere. I took my Miao mi for a walk and guess what? I reached Bubuu's residence!

So I went in to visit Bubuu and play with her for awhile! Hugged her and let my Miao mi have some fun with Bubuu's tortoise. XD

(Wow~ Miao mi probably was to shy to hug Bubuu when I was watching)

Still a lot more to have fun with our pets I hope dear will have much fun and happy as Bubuu, shouting at me everyday, 'Hug me hug me!!! Bao~'
